I'm Katie, the artist and owner behind The Arcane Apothecary. Once upon a time, I was a graphic and brand designer by day and a potion artist by night. Somewhere along the way, the potions took over, and I traded my full-time design career for a life of bottling magic.

Today, The Arcane Apothecary is a small but mighty creative business with a wonderful part-time team, several rather unhelpful familiars (including my cats Jinx and Vi, and our bearded dragon Andarna), and an ever-growing collection of bottles, curiosities, and supplies that have officially taken over my house AND garage. Send help. Or more shelving.

We specialize in handcrafted decorative potions and magical curiosities inspired by fantasy, folklore, witchcraft, and the fictional worlds we love getting lost in. From interactive display potions that shimmer and transform when shaken, to wearable potion pendants, spell and altar potions, dice roller potions, light-up creations, and plenty of other enchanting oddities, there's always something new brewing in our little apothecary.

But more than anything, we want The Arcane Apothecary to feel like stepping into another world.

You know that feeling when you're completely immersed in your favourite fantasy novel, movie, or video game, and you wish you could reach through the pages or screen and bring a little piece of that world home?

That's exactly the feeling we're trying to capture.

Whether you're visiting our booth at an in-person event or wandering through our online shop, we want you to feel as though you've stumbled upon a curious little apothecary tucked away down a cobblestone alley, its shelves overflowing with mysterious bottles, magical ingredients, and peculiar treasures.

Everything we create is made with imagination, attention to detail, and a genuine love for the fantastical. My background in graphic design still plays a huge role in what we do, from our ornate labels and packaging to the little finishing touches that help bring each creation to life.

At the heart of it all, we're just a small team of creative humans who believe the world could use a little more magic, whimsy, and joy.

And if one of our creations makes you smile, sparks your imagination, or helps you feel a little closer to a world you love, then we've done exactly what we set out to do.

Thank you for supporting our little apothecary and helping turn one artist's side quest into a real-life adventure. 🖤

With a little magic and a lot of creative chaos,

Katie & The Arcane Apothecary Team
